Fred Grimes has had a very successful real estate career spanning over thirty years. ROBERT H.S. KIRKPATRICK
Bob’s commercial real estate career spans over 38 years in Southern California. As a selling broker Bob represented and closed many sale and lease transactions with high profile developers and national tenants. Key clients have included: American Stores, Alpha Beta Markets, Ralphs, Albertsons, Sav-On Drugstore, Skaggs Drugs, Marie Callendar, McDonalds, Don Jose Mexican Restaurants, Union Oil, Aaron Bros, Norm Reeves Super Group of Cars, Sinclair Paints, Vista Paints, Downey S&L, Denny’s, Del Taco and more.
Bob’s management roles have included opening and leading the first Grubb & Ellis office in the Inland Empire in 1983 and building the division to one of the top 5 in the nation. He has also served as CEO and President of The Rancon Companies in the Temecula Valley. Bob was the President of CataList Homes, with partner Hal Ellis (Grubb & Ellis Co-founder), who served as Chariman of CataList. Bob was also Vice-Chairman and Director of Fallbrook National Bank, which became Community National Bank in Escondido, CA.
Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis|WestMar, Bob and his wife Theresa spent 2008 and 2009 cruising. First on a four ½ month world cruise aboard The Pacific Princess visiting every continent except Antarctica, then aboard their own trawler covering 7,000 nautical miles, returning to California in January 2010.
Bob joined Grubb & Ellis|WestMar based on his first hand knowledge of the professionalism and talent of principals Mark Esbensen, Fred Grimes and the entire team. JANET KRAMER, SCLS
Janet is a Commercial Real Estate Broker and Attorney with proven success in assembling and leading teams to achieve project goals. JASON MICHAEL
Jason Michael began his commercial real estate career over six years ago with Dendy Real Estate & Investment Co. as their Project Manager/Development Coordinator. He has worked in all facets of the commercial real estate development including; managing partnerships, working with City Officials on public work improvements, installing on-site improvements, working with environmental agencies, working with tenants and principals in leasing transactions and much more. With a wealth of experience as Project Manager for properties like Margarita Square and Margarita Ville in Murrieta, Jason Michael has transitioned smoothly to the transactional side of commercial real estate as a part of the Grubb & Ellis|WestMar Retail Team.
Jason graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Public Administration. He is married to Rebecca Michael. Jason enjoys playing golf and is a fan of the San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers. |

Jim is an office and industrial specialist with two decades of commercial real estate experience in the Temecula/Murrieta Valley and North San Diego market. Jim has a strong understanding of the local commercial property marketplace, and is skilled in providing clients with valuation guidance. He also assists tenants and landlords in analyzing the market and structuring transactions that create win-win situations for both parties.
A leader in the office market, he has completed hundreds of office sales and leases. During his career, he has completed over 750 office, industrial, land and investment transactions totaling in excess of $275 million. Jerry is an Investment Advisor that specializes in the analysis, acquisition and sale of multi-tenant properties and the land upon which they are developed. Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis|WestMar, he spent several years with Sperry Van Ness, a national commercial real estate brokerage advising clients with respect to the purchase and sale of investment grade real estate properties. Jerry has a Bachelor degree from a Canadian university with a combined major in Economics and Law.
